Organization Culture: Maximizing Contribution

Large operation with "average" results, poor motivation and a supervisory group wanting to certify with a union. Worked with president and management group to develop and implement a strategy to maximize contribution through individual and team development. Operation achieved major turnaround.

Worked with large Oil Company to establish team management approach for major projects. Facilitated "pilot" which included major engineering contractor. First major project to be completed substantially within time frame and financial budgets. Approach based on team thinking - learning principles.

 Organizational Vision - Mission

Multi-national Mining Organizations (5000 employees) redefining Values and Strategic Direction. Designed "thought/discovery" processes that engaged groups of 20-60 people throughout the organization. Close to 1000 people were directly involved in designing the future of the company, now fully integrated into the Corporate Strategic Plan.

 Organizational "Architecture" and Design

Retail Organization with Head Office and 60 Stores. Senior Management Group developed Shared Vision and an Organizational Model based on Customer Service and Local autonomy. Applied accelerated learning principles in two-day Think Tanks with HO Staff and Store Managers (about 120 participants), redefining organizational structure, roles and relationships, and streamlining HO support functions.

Competence Development

Guided major initiative to design and implement Competency Development approach fully integrated with Strategic Planning, Performance Management, Succession Planning and Coaching.
